Hey Sjors,

I agree. When you feel busy or overwhelmed, one of the most important things you could do is just sit down and write down what needs to be done. When it's tangible, and written on paper in front of you, it gives you focus and clarity.

And you're right, sometimes it means, unfortunately, that you have to miss out on social activities. Not fun, but it's where your priorities lie.

as far as I could come up with,
if you feel you are too busy, you have to refocus on what is really really important for you. Make a top ten list of what you want to do and than order them by priority again. The hardest part is the one where you have to cut down on social activities. You will say than I'm too busy, but what you are meaning to tell is 'sorry, meeting up with you is just not a top priority at the moment'. I'm not sure what people would like to hear more..

So true, Ace! If I had all my commitments prioritized the same I'll probably have no time to do anything, get very little done and not be satisfied at all with anything. :) Priorities and perspective are so important.

Also noteworthy is that people have multiple commitments. The commitments are prioritized and accordingly the time is juggled over the different commitments. :-)
